everyday is like sunday

since the papa's always at work, we don't get many sunday brunches together. but last sunday was awesome. the papa had the morning off, and i had to scratch that wannabe itch of mine to constantly be updated on the ins and outs of kl. so we drove to some obscure location, our journey staggered by the altitude of direction confusion in the air, and found ourselves in a hidden nook of the city. there was amazing coffee, there was a really talkative barista, there was breakfast, there was the smiths playing from a vintage stereo. there were birds, there was sunshine, there were fallen leaves that seem to glow from the bright of light. there was a mat on the grass, and some artists sketched apart. heck, at one point the cook even brought out a ukelele and started singing... yes, there was a cook that sang and played the ukelele.

as we sat there, a teeny tiny family amongst the play of artists and trigger happy musicians, i knew this was where we were meant to be; happy.
