The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
every kid needs this book. it's got a fugly caterpillar that eats and eats and eats... kinda sounds likes the daughter minus the fugly part. replace that part with fugorgeous. or fawesome. or fufu. dunno why fufu, it just sounds cute. like fifi with an attitude. yeah, i be naming her first pet fufu. and it just might be a very hungry caterpillar.
Beautiful Oops! by Barney Saltzberg
i like this book for the simple fact that everything that's beautiful begins with just a tear. and that alone is the beauty.
An Awesome Book by Dallas Clayton
granted, the last recommendation can be read online, but call me old fashioned; i don't see a purpose in reading books online. why call them books if they're not literally books, right? kinda defeats the purpose, right?

I totally agree with you on "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". That was my favorite book back in the day when i couldn't string words together. Every time i see the book in bookstores, i can't help but flip through the pages.
ReplyDeleteAhaha i keep doing the same in borders, esp with the pop-up version!
