today was something special. there was so much bling and ho ho ho's that you'd think you were in a rap video. there were presents and meat and a little piney tree... today we celebrated my first Christmas.
now, the day didn't start well. my mama, the so-called educated fashion designer, dressed me as a walking faux pas. i mean, red and pink??? seriously?!?! needless to say, i threw a freaking fit. but did anyone have the decency to come to my rescue? no! instead, they made me camwhore. seriously, camwhore.
but then the dude in a fat suit with a pillow belly a-peeking arrived. and he pulled more shiny stuff out of a laundry bag. and all the whiny kids went wild. i don't know who he was and why he wouldn't just go on a diet to stop the hyperventilation - not to mention get lasik to ditch those ugly glasses - but when he came up to me and told me i was adorable, i believed him. suddenly, the damn red pink combo didn't seem so bad.
my papa spent the whole night showing me to the room filled with ooo-ers and ahhh-ers. my mama opened all my pressies for me. i got soft toys and rattles and little einstein kits and the most awesomest lullaby light reflector ever. i felt like the luckiest baby in the whole wide world.
today was something special. i saw the red in love.
