she takes me for walks when i'm crying and mad, she strokes my tummy when the tummy is bad; she creases my onesies for a little more comfort, she talks me to sleep when nobody else would. she keeps mama clean with baths of herbal tea, she keeps me clean with baths made just for me; she has no rest when everyone is sleeping, she has no rest 'coz i'm always up and screaming. she makes the nice kitchen smells that waft through the air, she makes googly noises while playing with my bear; she has no idea how much i truly care, she has no idea how much i love it when she plays with my hair.
today my nanny leaves and i'm all sad inside, today my nanny leaves and my tears i'll try to hide. one day papa and mama will give me a sibling and i will see my nanny again, 'til then i'll think of her and the sadness i'll contain.
